What’s “Daré Omni?”

Daré Omni is Latin meaning “to give all.”  It is a pseudonym (pen name) I created based upon parts of my actual name translated into Latin.  The parts of my real name that I used in the translation convey my mission and vision for this blog.

I believe that in my short time on this Earth I have had as many experiences as that of some people twice my age.  I know that sounds cocky or presumptuous, but it is true!  I want to impart some of the wisdom I have gained through this blog.

I do not claim to be a sage or wise man.  I have learned some wisdom.  There is a critical difference.  A wise man is somebody we see as perhaps a trusted advisor or role model.  I am neither of those things.  In fact much of what I have learned has come from a myriad of fuck-ups.

Therefore today is my first day publicly setting out to share with you.

What is the scope of this “sharing?”  Well it shall not be limited in any way shape or form.  You will not find coherence or polished writing here either.  Well maybe sometimes, but it’s not a goal.

Here it is said another way:  On day I will die and I have acquired unique knowledge and insights into the human condition – through the lens of me.  These experiences and insights must be imparted to you.  I believe some of them might do good for the reader.

It is entirely conceivable that nobody will read this.  If that is the case then so be it.  I will do my best to write what I feel needs to be put down into records.  If nobody reads it or finds it, then I can still rest easy knowing that I have given my best.
